Welcome to the New Testament Greek Portal

Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished scholar, I trust you will find something here that will help you in your study of this wonderful language.

I have tried to make this site as up-to-date as possible. But it’s far from complete. There are three things you can do to help me improve it.

If you find a broken link, let me know at black@sebts.edu. I will remove or repair it.

If you think I’ve left out a link that ought to be here, tell me what it is. I’ll give it all due consideration for inclusion.

Finally, if you have any suggestions as to how I can make this site more user-friendly and enhance its layout, I promise to turn your suggestions toward its improvement.

So where to begin?

If you’re brand new to my publications, you might want to start with a look at my My Greek Tools page. Although I’ve never considered myself an expert in New Testament Greek, God has allowed me to produce a number of resources that you might find useful in your study of Greek.

What then?

That depends on your needs and interests. Want to know which Greek grammars are online? Click here. Need a Greek font for that term paper you’re working on? Go here. Thinking about teaching Greek to your homeschoolers? We’ve got a link just for you. And there’s so much more. Through this portal, it is my hope and prayer that you will grow in your knowledge of the Word of God and in obedience to Him in your daily walk.

Many people have helped me with this Greek portal, and I am extremely grateful to each one: Thomas Hudgins (Professor of New Testament and Greek at Capital Seminary and Graduate School), Seth Brown (a former M.Div. student), Jacob Cerone (a former assistant), Paul Himes (a former Ph.D. student), Nathaniel Cooley, and Noah Kelley. God bless all of you for assisting me in this way.

To God alone be all the glory.

Dave Black

Be sure to visit our What’s New? page, as I will be updating this site frequently.
